MySouthwark Service Points

Service Outline

MySouthwark Service Points are open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

You will need an appointment to access most services. To book an appointment please visit your nearest service point or from 11 April 2016 you can also book an appointment online via the Southwark Council Website.

We offer:

  1. 30 minute/1 hour appointments for detailed or complex enquiries for:
    - Council Tax and housing benefits
  2. Fast track appointment service (10 minute appointments) for:
    - Submission of all documents
    - General enquiries regarding Council Tax, housing benefits or Blue Badge applications

Walk in Service

All service points offer a walk in service, available only for:

  • access to self service terminal and telephones
  • paying for services online or by automated phone
  • repairs (emergency repairs and follow up repairs will need to be booked via contact centre)
  • accessing information about a wide range of services
  • accessing your MySouthwark account
  • finding out about choice based lettings
  • finding out how to purchase parking permits and communal keys in your area

Our service points have highly trained staff who are able to deal with all general enquiries about council services.  We provide advice and information, try to resolve any enquiries you may have and to put you in touch with the right service if you require additional help.

We have private interview areas and are able to provide assistance with online forms (appointment required).

If you require housing advice, you can speak directly to your resident or income officer. You can find out who your resident or income officer is and their contact details by using our post code search.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS

From 01 April 2016 you can no longer make payments in the service points.

Payments can be made using the following:

Sign up to a ‘MySouthwark’ account that lets you manage payments online and access a range of services.

  • telephone – 0845 600 0611 (reference or account number required)
  • Post Office – Only for rent/Council Tax/garages. You will need a payment card.
  • your local Pay Point (PP) - Only for Rent/Council Tax/garages. You will need a payment card. If you pay by debit or credit card at a pay point outlet, charges may be applied. There is no charge for cash.

Please visit your nearest service point to order your payment swipe card. For rent or garage payment cards contact your resident service officer.

Closure of Market place (Bermondsey) service point

Market Place (Bermondsey) Service Point has now closed.  An advice and document receipt service will be available temporarily at the Blue Anchor Library.

Blue Anchor Library is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 9am to 5pm It is closed on Wednesdays.

Customers will still need to book an appointment to be seen at the new temporary location in person at Walworth Service Point or Peckham Service point.

NB: Please bring your reference/account numbers and other relevant documents with you, as this will help with your enquiry.
