Partnerships

We recognise that effective partnership working is vitally important to delivering our Council Plan, to transforming the way we deliver public services and to developing our future strategy. We aim to build effective partnerships with a range of national, regional and local organisations, including those from the private, public and voluntary and community sectors. Our partnership working is focused on three key strategic partnerships.

Children and Families' Trust
The Children and Families' Trust is the main partnership between agencies providing services for children, young people and their families in Southwark. It oversees how the partners, such as the council, local schools, Community Action Southwark and the Metropolitan Police Service will work together to improve the well-being of children and families in Southwark.

Health and Wellbeing Board
The Health and Wellbeing Board is a forum where the council and key partners from the health and care system work together to improve the health and wellbeing of our local population and to reduce health inequalities. It is a statutory committee of the council and includes agencies such as the NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group, Southwark Healthwatch and the Metropolian Police Service.

Safer Southwark Partnership
The Safer Southwark Partnership brings together the council, the London Fire Brigade, the Probation Service and the Metropolitan Police Service to work together to tackle crime and disorder issues in Southwark.
