Southwark Presents

Southwark Presents

...events across the borough. Introducing the new website.

For the first time we have brought together in one place information on upcoming events that we organise and deliver, to help you navigate what's on, what you can see and do across the borough, and how you can get involved.

The Southwark Presents programme is made possible by Southwark Council and the many funding and activity partners who join forces with us to deliver enjoyable, rewarding and enriching activities for local people in Southwark. The opportunities to take part or spectate are broad and here are some of the highlights:

  • Outdoor events transform Southwark's green parks and open spaces with culture and art activities, and opportunities to learn as well as have fun.  We bring together neighbourhoods to showcase to the rest of London what Southwark has to offer, and there are often plenty of opportunities to get involved.
  • Innovative music recording and production opportunities with All About the Band.
  • Brillitant heritage workshops for young people with Cuming Museum where you can get to know the remarkably eccentric and eclectic Cuming collection.
  • Local History Library and Archive monthly talks about things you never knew about the borough.
  • BMX taster sessions at Burgess Park, where you can start the beginnings of a lifelong hobby (or career).

The Southwark Presents website contains information on the events we deliver and fund. For other events across the borough, visit the What's On diary. The programme is regularly updated with new events. Bookmark the page, and you'll see something new every month.

We hope to see you there.
