Canada Water Masterplan

Overview

Southwark Council and its partnering land owner, British Land are working with the community to develop a proposal for an exciting new town centre in Canada Water.

The proposal will look to integrate the existing heritage, history and character of the surrounding areas with new buildings, vibrant restaurants, new leisure centre, community facilities and new homes. The area will have a strong connection with the local community and transform the area into a unique place to live, work, study, shop and travel through. The Masterplan will see development of existing buildings and car parks, carried out in phases over a period of approximately 15 years.

If you would like further information about the proposal and to view details of past and future consultation events, visit the British Land Canada Water Masterplan webpage.
