Drug and alcohol support services

Drug and alcohol services in Southwark are provided by the voluntary sector, NHS staff and social care workers. The teams work together to help you find the best solution for your particular situation.

How to get help

If you have concerns related to a drug or alcohol problem, you can self refer to Lifeline Southwark. Lifeline Southwark is a new service in Southwark. It operates six days per week and will be delivered from one main hub based at Cambridge House 1 Addington Square and a second site in Camberwell, as well as a number of community based satellite services located across the borough (i.e hostels, day centres, pharmacies, GP surgeries and police stations).

For further details of this service please see - http://lifelinesouthwark.org/

If you are under 24 you can access advice about drugs or alcohol from Insight Southwark. For details visit this website - http://insightsouthwark.co.uk/

Alternatively you can discuss your issues with your General Practitioner.

Alcohol self-assessment tool

If you are concerned about how much you drink, you can take a short assessment that can suggest if you are drinking too much and give advice on how to cut down.
